Progress

Next time try doing a little research...

1. Have the right tools for the right job. If you don't have the tool, buy it or borrow it. Don't make due with something "almost right" You'll get poor results at the least or, at the most, injured, badly.

The Nexus was created with the following tools. Table saw, 2hp digital router, Trim saw, Hand sander, Cordless drill, Dremel, Jig saw. Countless drill bits, counter sinks, files, t-squares, measuring tapes, clamps, etc.

2. Do your homework. I can't stress this enough people. Ask questions, visit this forum. Don't jump in if you don't know how to finish it. It's expensive, it takes time, and it takes a crapload of research, but there are people that can help.

3. Set reasonable expectations. Will it do everything perfectly? Of course not. How many times have I heard "It doesn't play game X perfectly" That's the nature of emulation. Your hardware won't be the same as mine or probably anyone elses. Find things that have worked for others or be a pioneer, see if I care, but don't whine when things aren't as expected.

4. Don't trust anyone to perform to your expectations. Vendors will ship when they're good an ready and not all of them are reliable. Check the BYOAC forums and do a little research on who's good with what. I can list my vendors here and the experiences I've had with each. Once every single thing is done, I will so look for that soon.

More to come...
